Jem/Jerrica, the original and the best!!

This is the first ever Jem/Jerrica doll, twice the toy as she could be dressed as Jerrica with her pink hair hidden in a cap or Jem with all the sparkle and double coloured locks galore!
Two versions of this doll were released, one with button style earrings and the other with stars, both could flicker at the press of a button behind her shoulders. The quality is so good that even today it is rare to find a Jem doll that no longer works with fresh batteries.

This is when Hasbro really got it all so right! Jem/Jerrica came with her microphone, stage dress, tights, shoes, comb, bracelet, reversible belt, daytime dress, hat, sunglasses and stand but, surprisingly, no cassette!
These were the early days and the music really hadn't taken off yet. Another interesting and not so well known fact about the original Jem/Jerricas is that you can line up a row of them and each one has slightly different make-up and face shape.
