Rotary tube furnaces of the RSR series are the best solution if you first need to maintain the single-grain properties of the material, such as when drying or firing. The continuous rotation of the working tube ensures continuous movement of the charge.
In general, these models can be used for continuous or intermittent operation. When continuous operation is performed, the material can be uniformly moved from one end to the other end of the working tube; during intermittent operation, the material can be heated in the tube for a long time, which mainly depends on the special shape of the quartz glass reactor (tapered tube end)
This compact tube furnace RSR B series is particularly suitable for intermittent operation. The RSR multi-function furnace can be equipped with a working tube for continuous operation or a reactor for intermittent operation.
The choice of various working tubes made of quartz glass, ceramic or metal depends on the process, material and required maximum temperature (see page 42).
